The City of FalseLight
A small town was set to be constructed south of rose pass for the purpose of forming a trade hub for all of the rare materials that could be found in excess in the empty forest. Naturally people where on edge about moving to a city so close to the forest, to abate these fears those who would benefit most from this trade instated several means of protection ranging from a cycling guard to a in town magicians guild. However the most impressive claim they made was that of the sunstone, a stone that glowed like the sun and supposedly amplified its effects, effectively insuring that no vampires would plague the town. And from appearances alone it did the stone illuminated the entire city making twilight indistinguishable from midday. Thinking themselves clever they named the city quicksilver. However the peace did not last long before the trade routes where even properly implemented the raids began racking the city. Time after time after a year of these attacks the final blow came the sunstone was stolen in the raids almost as if to mock its purpose, and thus the city earned its name of falselight. The story takes 9 years later.
